We have limited sizes on these early Vietnam issue boot. These are older and some are beginning to dry out and have scuff marks from storage. We would not ship a dried-out pair of boots unless we verified with you first. Order the size you want and we will do our best to find a supple-wearable pair of boots. If not, we will contact you for approval. DISCLAIMER: the narrow(N) sizes are very narrow, most people cannot fit into them. Spike protective sole, od cotton canvas uppers, and leather bottoms. Vibram sole is the early issue of these boots as a predecessor to the mud-releasing Panama sole developed later in the Vietnam war. Get some now while we still have them.

Vietnam Jungle Boots, 3rd Pattern with Vibram Sole

Original Issue Vietnam G.I. Jungle boots. These are the real deal. Developed and battle tested in Vietnam. The military issued the green canvas jungle boot through the late 1980’s. The military no longer contracts this canvas boot that all our troops fell in love with. We have for over 50 years managed to accumulate a good stock of this classic boot. Do not be confused – these are NOT imported copies. The original early-issue “vibram” sole”.

    I just got my boots today and they were in beautiful condition. The sole was a bit hard but otherwise they looked brand new, even the instruction tag was still there. They look very good in the vietnam war collection.

    Those boots are awesome. But make sure the sole is treated with Lexol’s rubber protection spray. That conditions and nourish the sole.

    These boots look great having been oiled and brushed. So if you can, oil them lightly instead of polishing them.

    I have ordered 3 pairs. They are great boots. My feet are narrow, I measure a 13 narrow on a shoe sizer and the 13N fit great!

    I wiped them down with a little neatsfoot oil when I got them and put a little shoe polish on them and they are beautiful.

    Best boots I ever used bar none. My lower left leg and foot suffer from swelling and pain after being hit by a car and the good old GI Boot, Hot Weather, Spike Protected offers much better support and comfort than what I have experienced from much heavier, and stiffer, full military type leather boots.
    I have ordered two pairs of boots so far and it has been the best money I ever spent on footwear .
    Brushing them down and giving them the silicone shoe polish the instruction tells you to immediately deals with any age and storage related scuff marks I have encountered so far.
