Description
The Vietnam m-61 buttpack is similar to its predecessor the m-56 except a rubber throat was attached to help waterproof the contents. The vietnam issue butt pack is typically attached to the cotton pistol belt, and the suspenders hook into the eyelets on the top of the pack. The pack can also be worn above the belt on the field pack adapter strap, which carries the entire weight of the pack on the suspenders up high on the back like a small backpack. This cotton canvas pack is in good condition and perfect for reenactors as well as general camping and survival use. The design and construction make this a durable and rugged pack for even present day use
